If you’re fed up with working at the kitchen table or need an escape from the home-school classroom, maybe 2021 is the year for investing in a garden office. Making the most of your outside space is a fantastic way to free up some inside space. But with so much choice and so many variables, calculating the cost of your office project could just be too bewildering, and put you off before you’ve even started. We appreciate the importance of working to a budget and want you to find the perfect office at the perfect price. So we’ve got down and dirty with the Filthy Lucre and come up with this bitesize guide to our garden office prices.
You should budget for between £3,000 and £30,000 for your home office.
All our buildings are made from slow-grown, sustainable timber and have high-quality double-glazed windows and doors. That all comes as standard. You only add to it if you want to.
These starting prices are based on an office size of around 7-7.5m2 (that’s room enough for a desk and chair, small piece of office furniture and a two-seat sofa).
Our office buildings come with an array of add-ons, from installation of electrics, additional design features or living roof, to timber pre-treatment, professional assembly, factory painting and advanced insulation. You can also upgrade from a standard deck base to a concrete foundation.
If you fancy all these bells and whistles, the price of a 7 - 7.5m2 office will look something like this:
