Get into a new fitness mindset

Getting fit needs to be fun, not a chore you dread. With your own home gym, exercising becomes easy and convenient, seamlessly integrating into your daily routine.

You can exercise in short bursts, popping out for a quick fifteen minutes on the cross-trainer whenever it suits you. Doing exercise little and often could be the ideal way to help it become part of your daily routine.

If you don't like exercising in a crowded gym, having your private fitness studio is the perfect solution.

A hassle-free solution for your busy life

A gym of your own offers you the chance to take back control of your exercise regime. No need for long commutes or expensive membership fees, especially if you don't even use half of the facilities.

Of course, there’s an initial financial outlay when you install a garden building. But the investment will soon start paying itself back. Imagine the time and money you'll save by not having to travel to the gym and pay for membership fees.

Choosing the right building

It's important to think about the gym equipment you want to install. Will there be enough head height for your exercises? Do you want to hang a punching bag from the ceiling? Or do the walls need to support a pull-up bar?

Our buildings have strong floors that can support heavy fitness machines and equipment such as rowing machines or multi-gyms.

Log cabins make excellent home gyms as the walls are strong and robust. They easily take the knocks from free weights and the breathable walls help prevent condensation build-up.

We design our internal floors to be very strong. Our tongue & groove timbers are robust enough to handle the most energetic of workouts. Add a laminate floor for yoga workouts and easy cleaning.

If you plan on using free weights, you could invest in rubber gym flooring. This will protect the timbers and reduce noise. You can buy rubber or foam gym matting online. It’s cheap and easy to install.

You will use a garden gym room for years to come.

Our quality garden studios are made to last, so you’ll be investing in something that will be around for years.

You can give up on your gym membership, you can allow your new trainers to sit unused in the bedroom cupboard. But you won’t be able to ignore this stunning architectural addition to your garden. Your new garden gym will be constantly calling you to come and exercise within its sustainably sourced timber walls.

Even if you stop trying to achieve the ideal physique, your investment in our adaptable buildings will still be worthwhile. You can use your garden gym for many other things, like a yoga or pottery studio, or a home office.

If your garden gym is within 2m of your boundary, you can only have a maximum roof height of 2.5m. But if you bring the building further into your garden, there are fewer height restrictions.

This is a good thing, as a higher ceiling will give you more exercise room. One of our pitched roof buildings would be an ideal choice with its high ceiling interior.

Think of the financials

Do away with monthly membership fees and additional petrol costs for good!

Of course, a garden gym shed will require a one-off bulk payment. But you’ll never need to pay again. The value added to your property from a high-quality garden gym studio or fitness room could add as much as 5% to your house value, effectively paying off the investment.
