Three long double-glazed windows and a double-glazed door with multi-point locking offer a light, airy and modern space in which to comfortably work.

The 44mm thick timber walls are made from slow-grown Northern European Spruce. All timber is sourced from sustainable sources and managed forests.

The flat roof is 2.5m in height to comply with permitted development in most cases.

The roof is complete with an EPDM rubber roof membrane and a 2-3 degree slope for water run-off.

This small garden office has an attractive, contemporary design featuring a flat roof. The finished building is 1.8m deep x 2.4m wide. Under 2.5m high, this garden office pod does not (in most cases) require planning permission.
The Prima Mini Garden Office is large enough to house a desk, chair and bookshelves with room to spare for the inevitable office paraphernalia. This solid garden office pod is constructed from heavy-duty, 44mm timber, including a 19mm timber floor. All timber is from sustainable sources and offers a traditional wood finish that can be stained or painted to suit your taste. Alternatively, factory finishes are available.
The all-inclusive garden office kit comes complete with double-glazing; all the necessary fixings and fastenings; high-quality door furniture; detailed instructions and is designed for do-it-yourself assembly in a day or two, with very basic carpentry skills. On buildings we install, we offer first & second fix electrics with a range of fittings to choose from.
In most cases, we find that this is not necessary. Our designers are experienced in all aspects of garden room design and build and are able to prepare plans to your specification without the need to visit your garden.
Many of the buildings we offer comply with permitted development rights and do not require further planning permission. For larger buildings and special planning zones, additional permission may be required. Read our comprehensive planning guide to establish any additional permissions that you may require.
Planning permission guideMany of our garden buildings can be self-assembled by a competent DIY enthusiast and a couple of helpers. A smaller build can be assembled as a weekend project making a perfect opportunity to call in favours from both friends and family!
While we cannot determine if the "DIY" approach is right for you, we can tell you that Garden Affairs customers of all skill levels and ages have had great fun with the assembly of our buildings.
