Our customer Lizzie wanted a dedicated studio space at home for her pottery hobby and having seen our designs on-line she visited our display centre to see the wide variety of options open to her. Drawn to a contemporary style, she was attracted to our Linea range and we designed a bespoke size and style to suit her needs. 
Double glazing and insulation keep the building warm in winter, cool in summer.
The finished build measures 3.5m x 2.5m and has a flat roof to 2.5m high to comply with current planning regulations. The Linea range has a durable horizontal larchwood cladding that can be painted or stained in a wide variety of colours (Lizzie chose a contemporary grey paint finish to the walls and contrasting white for doors and windows). Fully insulated in the roof/floor and walls the building is perfect for all year round use both day and night.
A green sedum roof has been installed, which not only looks attractive but also provides a wildlife haven and offers greater insulation.
Glazing across the front face offers plenty of light, whilst 2 high-level opening windows provide ventilation
Electrics were installed for lighting, heating and sockets & a domestic pottery kiln (some larger kilns may require special electrical wiring - consult a qualified electrician for advice). Lizzie also had water & waste facilities installed.
Lizzie is now in full production with her ceramics and loving using her studio!
