Garden Therapy Room
This therapy studio for our customer Lucy in Somerset, was custom designed from our Linea range. Lucy lives in a small village & her garden sits up higher than a busy lane, therefore, anyone passing would be able to see the building. She was attracted to our Linea range with it’s low profile roof, as she felt that a lot of other supplier's buildings she had looked at had non-removable, large roof overhangs which she felt were too imposing. The Linea also allowed her to position the building close to her boundary wall.
The building measures 3.5m x 2.5m the perfect size for a treatment bed with room to spare for a bookcase & a couple of chairs without feeling crowded. Being fully insulated & double glazed, it offers a perfect year round comfortable, & professional environment for her & her clients. A triple window was built in to the design, with one fixed panel & two tilt / turn windows for ventilation. Blinds can be fitted for privacy, or frosted glass is also available.
The robust larch wood, horizontal profile exterior cladding was pre-painted at the factory in a soft grey to blend into the garden & the dark contrast doors are very “on trend”. Inside the good looks continue with a smart mdf vertical groove cladding, pre-painted at the factory & easy clean oak laminate flooring.
The customer has created a professional treatment room at home, offering her the flexibility to work at a time to suit her. Over the long term, she will enjoy the benefits from not paying expensive rental fees for premises. Keeping her business outside of the home in a dedicated garden room offers her privacy from her family life.
