Create your own garden building with our NEW 3D design tool
The future is here and you can be a part of it!
Get creative with our brand new, interactive 3D design tool. The easy-to-use web-based software means you can create your very own bespoke garden building without leaving the comfort of your phone.
Choose your building size, select from a palette of contemporary colours, and place your windows and doors exactly where you want them. Designing your perfect garden office or studio just became a whole lot easier.
A few clicks of the mouse, a little imagination, then sit back and watch as your building comes to life with Augmented Reality. The AR tool is an awesome way to visualise your new building – inside and out – as it might fit in the chosen space in your garden. Just scan the QR code into your phone and away you go.
Here are some tips on how to get the most out of the 3D design tool, step by step:
1. Choose your size.
Start off by choosing the size that works for you. The Proline is a panel construction so you can vary the size by half-metre increments.
Not sure what size you need? Check out our handy size guide. You’d do well to bear in mind that the size that works for you now may not be future proof. You also need to consider the area you have available, including an allowance for maintenance access on all sides.
If you’d like some more guidance on how to choose the optimum size, a member of our team is always on hand to help.
2. Select your doors and windows.
We have a wide range of fixtures available, so have a play around before finalising your design. All our doors and windows are double-glazed and timber-framed as standard.
Creating a thing of beauty is something we all aspire to. But keep in mind the practicalities too:
- Ventilation: Try and include an opening window for air circulation.
- Light: which is the sunniest side of the garden? Make sure the positioning of your windows maximises the use of natural light.
- Internal walls: leave enough space among the glass for internal shelving and wall-mounted furniture like pictures and lighting.
- Compatibility: do your best to create a symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing design that complements your garden design.
Once you’ve decided on size and glazing, it’s time to choose your colour scheme. You can go for a solid colour, or duotone – with separate colours for the doors and windows.
The tool offers a choice of 11 gorgeous colours. If you can’t find the one for you, we have hundreds more you can choose from. Just get in touch.
It’s also worth bearing in mind that your display is unlikely to give a fully accurate colour representation. The only guaranteed way of being sure about colour is to see it in the flesh. Contact our team to see real examples of your colour choice.
4. Electrical package
Your building is only as good as its finishing touches. The 3D design tool is not just about creating a beautiful building. It also makes sure you’ve got a building that will work for you on a practical level.
So the next important step is to decide how you want how the building to be wired up, and how many electrical fittings you’ll need.
The tool offers you two standard electrical options, or you can get in touch with us to discuss a custom package.
And there you have it: a bespoke garden building, designed by you. The cost is calculated as you go, so you can tailor your design choices to your budget.
The beauty of the 3D design tool is you get a super-realistic picture of what your building will look like in your garden. Included as standard in the quoted price are:
- full insulation
- MDF lined interior
- interior and exterior painting
- laminate flooring
- delivery and assembly within 50 miles.
Don’t forget to play around with the AR feature. Use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code and follow the instructions to see your dream design as it would look in your garden.
No need to rush. Share your design with friends and family, or save the URL link and spend some time reflecting on your choices. Then come back to it and maybe do some tweaking.
When you’re ready to talk to the team, simply click on the ‘discuss your design’ button and one of our friendly experts will be in touch to offer advice and help your design come to life.
