Why Deck Base?

Our Deck Base system offers a quick, simple and environmentally friendly foundation solution for your garden office, studio, log cabin or summerhouse. Deck Base is also an ideal solution for areas where there are access difficulties, ground level problems or where concrete is inappropriate.

Should you wish to move your garden building, for example, when moving house, or to another place within the garden, Deck Base is much easier than concrete to disassemble and even re-use or recycle.



Our Deck Base can be installed at any point from time of order up to 24hrs prior to assembly.

We have taken away the hassle of finding reliable trades people to build your base. All installations are carried out by Garden Affairs own skilled team and NOT subcontractors.

What is a Garden Affairs Deck Base?

Our Deck Base is a pressure treated, heavy duty, timber sub frame, supported on recycled plastic posts that look and perform like timber but are completely rot proof. Posts are anchored to concrete footings and positioned at regular intervals to resist weight loads. A weed suppressant membrane is laid beneath the base.

Your Deck Base will be constructed to the size of your garden room. Should you require extended decking, steps or balustrades, please call for a quotation.

Prices are shown and are installed prices, inclusive of VAT.

Notes: Deck Base may not be suitable for all applications so please contact us to discuss your requirements.  Pricing does not include levelling or removal of earth from your garden. Please note that Deck Base is only available on installed buildings.
