Log cabins - made to measure

All our luxury Log Cabins are constructed from first class, slow grown, Northern European pine. What makes our log cabins different is the quality of the wood and the doors and windows. Available in any size, so if you don't see your ideal log cabin here, we will custom design for you at no extra cost. Optional extras include green roofs, insulation upgrades and log cabin bases.

Important Information:

Factory Finished Log Cabins:
Our Luxury Log Cabins are all available factory treated and stain finished in a choice of 4 colour stains: white, green, grey-blue and oak.

High quality doors and windows: are vital for the comfort, security and the longevity of your log cabin. You can be confident in the performance of our single or double glazed doors and windows in a variety of sizes and styles.

Use our Log Cabins all year round: As a log cabin garden office, gym, extra accommodation, an artist's studio, a writer's garden room, a teenage den or even holiday accommodation.

Our Log Cabins are manufactured from premium quality timber: All our log cabins are manufactured in Northern European pine, grown in the Scandinavian countries of Sweden, Norway and Finland where the extreme cold makes growth rates much slower. This produces a very stable timber with a tight grain giving a greater density than faster growing varieties. All timber is from managed forests where the strict regulations of PEFC (Program of Endorsement of Forest Certification) ensure that more trees are planted than are chopped down.

Timber is kiln dried to 12-14% to prevent wood from warping, shrinking or cracking: Our log cabin wall timbers are milled so that the interlocking profile is offset, this prevents the ingress of water between the corner joints. The timbers are milled to produce a very smooth surface finish, this ensures that the grain does not rise when the timbers are painted.

44mm timbers have a substantial single tongue and groove and a chamfered end cut. 68mm wall logs have a double tongue and groove profile and are square cut on the ends. Timbers are restricted to lengths of up to 6m long. Longer lengths can become unstable and difficult to handle safely, however, logs can be joined together to make buildings of any length.

Green Roofs: An increasingly popular option and a good alternative to traditional roofing materials for your garden office, workshop, studio or Log cabin. Our installation team can install a stylish and sustainable living green sedum roof. Not only will a green sedum roof give you great pleasure to watch as it grows and develops, a sedum roof is also designed to outlast traditional log cabin roofing materials, in some cases doubling the life expectancy of that area.
