Botanic Beauty

Garden Affairs were delighted to win a prestigious commission to design and install a "Welcome Centre" for the new Bristol University Botanic Garden based at The Holmes, Stoke Bishop, just off Durdham Down, Bristol.

The "Welcome Centre" provides a stunning focal point at the garden entrance and will serve as a garden information and ticket sales centre. Both the garden and "Welcome Centre" were formally opened in March 2006 by Professor Sir Peter Crane FRS, director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The gardens will be open to the public 10am - 4.30pm from Sunday 19 March 2006 and thereafter on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Regular tours of the developing garden will be available throughout the year.

Coffee Shop

This client, a care home, wanted a coffee shop for residents to use all year round. Garden Affairs installed a Fifth Avenue Duo Maxi XL, with double glazing, insulation and an added internal door. This provides 2 rooms, one for food and drink preparation with a serving hatch onto the main coffee shop area.

Business is Blooming !

Business has grown dramatically for this flower shop owner since moving into new premises - custom designed and installed by Garden Affairs.

Outside, an attractive deck provides the stage for the beautiful daily flower displays while a canopy shelters both foliage and customers from the elements. Shuttered windows provide added security in this busy town centre shopping area.

Inside houses a shop and store room, with flower boxes and interior shelving, all designed and built by the Garden Affairs team.
