Our "Mini Garden Office" is an easy to assemble, high quality timber building kit, designed to fit easily into any sized garden including small city gardens where space is at a premium.  The beauty of the Mini Office is that it has been designed to be under 10 cubic metres in volume, removing the need for planning permission* (* Some exceptions will apply for conservation-area homes and listed buildings. Local guidance must be sought in case of any doubt.)

Working from a garden room as opposed to the kitchen table or a spare bedroom, has a number of advantages, including freeing up valuable living space while providing a dedicated workspace away from the distractions of the house. “The Mini Office is available complete with insulation and double-glazed windows and door, providing all-year-round comfort, while electrics are easily installed to create a real home from home”, says Richard.   

The Mini Office has an attractive contemporary design featuring a flat roof. Three long windows and a glazed door offer a light, airy and modern space in which to comfortably work.   

The finished office is 1.8m wide x 2.4m deep, at less than 10 cubic metres in volume the building falls within permitted development rights (in other words takes up no more space than the average garden shed). 

The Mini Office is large enough to house a desk, chair and bookshelves with room to spare for the inevitable office paraphernalia.  This solid building is constructed from heavy duty, 44mm timber inclusive of a 19mm timber floor. All timber is from sustainable sources and offers a traditional wood finish that can be stained or painted to suit the your own taste. 

The all-inclusive kit comes complete with all the necessary fixings and fastenings, high quality door furniture, detailed instructions and is designed for do-it-yourself assembly in a day or two, with no carpentry skills required.
