Scotts of Thrapston accessories

Rotating Base

The rotating base accessory is an ingenious mechanism that was popularised by the Victorians. It allows you to simply turn your gazebo to face the sun or even to change the view you have of your garden or landscape.

The rotating base, as shown here, is easily fitted to any octagonal gazebo and, when installed, is always hidden from view by a timber skirting.

Price £575

Scotts has recently developed an electronic version of the rotating base, which is also available for the Balmoral and Baltimore summerhouses.

Operated by remote control, the electronic rotating base offers forward and reverse functions and is easy and safe to operate.

Price £2,375

Padded Lounger Insert

A slatted timber insert, with matching fabric cushions, is available to order for a quick and easy bed conversion within the Balmoral or Baltimore summerhouses.

All Scotts summerhouses can be supplied with seating and a sumptuous upholstery set comprising padded seat and backrest cushions with a tented roof lining. (See current price list for full details). Scatter cushions, in matching or contrasting fabrics, are available at an extra cost of £25 per set. Additional fabric is also available to order for any repairs or customised additions.

If you wish to purchase a new upholstery set for an existing Scotts summerhouse, please contact us to discuss further.

Additional Fixed Windows

In addition to the windows offered in the Baltimore and the Garden Room, Scotts is now offering an additional pair of fixed glazed windows, in the adjacent panels. This optional feature will allow more daylight into the building, presenting an even better view of your garden around you.

Glazed Features

Currently, the Baltimore summerhouse is supplied with three diamond leaded windows on the rear panels. The options for such glazed features is being extended to include two additional designs of either an oval or larger diamond. These new glazed apertures can be added to the Balmoral gazebo, The Sun Ray Garden Room or can replace the current diamond leaded windows in the Baltimore. You can specify if you would like these striking glazed features in all three of the back panels or to simply incorporate as a single feature in the rear panel.
